Scotty Davenport - Davenport Derby Dash

Scott Davenport was a national championship basketball coach at Bellarmine University.  He grew up in Louisville, just blocks from Churchill Downs.  Four years ago he combined two of his passions by starting the Davenport Derby Dash.  The event takes place on the Wednesday night of Derby week with the money raised benefiting the Davenport Family Scholarship for student managers.  Items up for auction or raffle include a personal barrel of bourbon from Maker's Mark and numerous horse racing, basketball, and golf experiences.  You can check out information at the following link.
