Mary Podesta (Football Official / San Francisco 49ers)

Mary Podesta was one of the first female football officials in the country.  As a former college athlete and athletic administrator, she was no stranger to being in the competitive arena.  Her work ethic and willingness to step into a sometimes uncomfortable male dominated profession got her a chance.  The quality of her work kept her around.  She now works for the San Francisco 49ers, officiating mini-camps and practices at the team's training facility.
